Paint the innocence of the mind

Whether through form or colour, Wing-yu’s artwork radiates an undeniable sense of innocence. As you watch her artwork, examining her brushstrokes demonstrates a meticulous attitude, highlighting the forcefulness embedded in every segment of the line work. The forms she creates are built precisely from these slow, steadfast contours. Whenever she depicts a subject, Wing-yu blends her visual perception with her own understanding, translating it into clear, well-defined shapes that unfold across the artworks with total clarity. There is no ambiguity in her work. It is these highly meticulous brushstrokes, candid and straightforward images, and her bright, vibrant colour palette that endows Wing-yu’s artwork with its unique sense of earnest simplicity.
