Immersed in the joy of creation, Ching-chuen naturally immerses himself in a continuous state of artistic output. Due to the limitations of his visual field, delineating precise lines and contours is a demanding physical and mental labor; consequently, he embraces a stylistic reduction of form. By striking a harmonious balance between the natural kinematics of his hand and the subject itself, he infuses the shapes with an inherent sense of dynamic momentum. The application of colour is the phase where Ching-chuen’s artistic spirit finds its ultimate release. Translating the physical swing of his wrist and joints into a spatial gauge, he glides across the artworks to let distinct hues interlace.
