Design is much closer to us than we thought!

In the ‘Design Ah! Experience the Wonder of Everyday Design’ exhibition, we explore the design philosophy behind everyday objects through our physical senses.
From oversized chopsticks and upside-down trash can to a display of over a hundred handles and grips, participants observed with their eyes, touched with their hands, and felt with their bodies—rediscovering the fascinating details of everyday life that we so often overlook.
In the interactive piece "DO IT!", we stood before the display screen, moving in sync with animated visuals and voice instructions by Hong Kong singer Wan Kwong to perform actions such as "raising" window blinds and "slicing" vegetables. Through this lighthearted physical participation, abstract design philosophies were seamlessly converted into immediate, sensory memories.
