Imagination in the Time of Quarantine
2021.08.03 - 2021.10.03
Hello. How are you?
We has been residing in the rehabilitation complex, or staying at home for quite a period, since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The world has turned upside down, so has our daily lives. How have you been adapting to it?
Starting from the new normal under the pandemic, feelings, imaginations and thoughts inspired by the quarantine turned into drawings. This exhibition showcases the artworks created during the quarantine by four artists: Ka-cheung, Ka-yan, Siu-kuen and Iat-hong. They show us how painting can be a practice where fantasy and imagination spark into our daily lives, as well as a medium to relieve negative emotions and dissonances.
We all are locked down in these days,
but still by your side in this city.
