CHUI Chung-saint
“I don’t know what character to write, but I like to write it slowly.”
You have to know Chung-saint well if you are to understand his blurred talk. When he started to learn writing calligraphy, he could only recognize characters with a simple structure. He recognizes more after having laborious practices and copying exercises. He even can write some simple characters on his own. Chung-saint shows his confidence in learning to write a new character, by studying the copybook himself rather than getting advice from others.
