MAK Wai-hung

Artist Mak Wai-hung wears thick glasses, but he is good at observing. He is also conversant with painting certain things.  Being very short-sighted, he watches first, then paints, and finally finishes his works step by step.

Mak Gor's paintings can be classified into two categories: one is geometric lines drawing and the other is figurative painting. Works on geometric lines contain no image of objects, but he is able to make use of simple colors and lines to create a relaxed and lively atmosphere. As a matter of fact, he enjoys very much when he is doing his creation. As for figurative painting, it is much more interesting. Mak Gor paints the facial features in a similar style and so there are small changes in their expressions. But when you look at these figures closely, they have their own personalities. From the very unique style of the figures, there is an indescribable sense of humor. This reveals his unique quality.
