Ka-ting is like a music performer on the drawing paper. Joints of lines are the music score she composes. There are mellowed and spirited music. Each sector of each line is painted in the same beat. Her body moves slowly. No matter it is a gel pen or an ink pen, she can manage well, and paint freely and directly to explore the possibility of lines. When she used wet paints, she would paint with big movements and enjoyed such crazy behaviors. When she painted with a ballpoint pen, she could draw a picture, with great details, as like a musical score.

Now, Ka-ting is trying to “compose another piece of music” between the little intervals at embroidery. Spending a few hours to finish a complete line, she is strict and meticulous to do every step.
