Hip-yan possesses a quiet and introverted nature, rarely revealing her inner world to others. Since she began her journey in art, she has fallen in love with the vibrant world of painting; every time she creates, she becomes deeply immersed and focused. Early in her practice, she specialized in landscape painting(Slopes Beneath the Sea of Clouds, 2012). Through art, she has become more cheerful and confident, now taking the initiative to showcase her work. Today, she independently selects magazine layouts, interprets visual imagery, and chooses her own palettes(Red and Blue Clothing, 2020). By layering pigments, she delicately and vividly expresses her imaginative interpretation of the stories behind the images.
