When doing his creation, Ka-lun is serious, careful and meticulous, in order to achieve a flawless standard. His sketches are in great detail without any missing ones. The limited space makes all lines overlap each other and even cover the drawn parts. The lines are full of strength and spread over the whole painting, leaving no space allowed in his paintings. Sometimes when he spotted the flaws in the paintings of his fellow classmates, he could not help himself from doing the correction for them.

Ka-lun’s strictness and persistence on his pursuit of creation are consistently reflected in his powerful and tightly arranged lines. He absolutely focused himself on his own work. In order to complete his works, he would stay late in the classroom and even take back the framed work from his exhibition.
